[Post-Match Discussion] Inter 1:2 Juventus (Coppa Italia, Semi-finals)

It sure would have been nice to play a game without a foul whistled for Juventus every 20 seconds, we couldn't touch them without them diving but they could get physical to steal away the ball from us. Their second goal is a gift from us, sure, but everything else about this match was just rotten. Downvote me and call me a sore loser, tell me that "it's always about refs when Inter loses", but I took last years' losses against Rube without saying a word because they beat us fair and square. Today that didn't happen, the ref did NOT want us to play, and only chilled out with the calls for like 15 minutes in the second half. But from the moment we scored till the match ended it's been a diving festival where Rube could attack with as many players as they wanted, because if you know the ref will whistle for you the moment you lose the ball then you don't have to fear counters.

See you next match, assholes. I can say "deserved win for you guys" for last year's matches in Serie A, but today I won't. You didn't deserve shit, and if this is the way you're planning to win trophies, then boy am I glad I support Inter, whether we win anything or not.

Can't wait for VAR rules to be re-written next time we need it by the way, since obviously today VAR shouldn't have intervened, Cuadrado falls against the laws of physics and the balls was 10 meters in the air, meaning there was no way to get it in the first place. But DEFINITELY VAR needs to intervene! Ronaldo had been bitching at the ref for over 10 minutes, he felt guilty!

Rant over. Upvotes, downvotes, agree or disagree, this is how I feel about this match. And again: I took last year's losses. I accepted them. We deserved them. But this? This isn't football. It's one team being able to play while the other has to stop whenever they take the ball.

I'll chill out now, and I am sorry for how aggressive this was of me. But today's refereeing made me hate the match, and the fact that we gifted them a goal and missed sitters doesn't change that. I don't even feel like talking about the match given how it went. See you next time.
