If you were really a system engineer you'd know that the specs of a device being used (or 5G connectivity for that matter LOL) has absolutely nothing to do with the ability to manipulate server side validations set in place, nor does it have to do with " handling simple calculations " LMFAO, a process is either server side validated or it's not, the "power" of the client is absolutely irrelevant to the structure of the validations processing. there is no "calculations" that can be made on a "POWERFUL 12GB RAM 5G DEVICE (My god if you knew how silly that actually is to say) that can change this. and I can assure you that all the process's I mentioned above are handled server side and that niantic didn't "move it client side because they believed it was airtight" because any online game cannot feasibly function this way as the data loss and potential corruption would be astronomical if you left these process's to be handled , stored, validated and pushed to server from each individual user, you're talking about people losing huge chunks on rewards/progresses whenever their cell service lags or upload data limit is capped or their app crashes not to mention you'd then be assuming that the user is now on the hook to USER THEIR data to be constantly uploading their localized validated values to niantics server? There's not a monthly data plan on earth that wouldn't cap out within 24 hours of that kind of set up. You have literally no clue how silly you sound and anyone who knew ANYTHING about code, system engineering, or even had a SPEC of a clue how SERVERS even work in general would not have said ANYTHING you just said lol.
