PREGAME THREAD: Brewers (59-55) @ Twins (54-56) - August 08, 2017

Thought about making a post for this earlier but decided to just post it to the pre-game thread. Some stats regarding bases-loaded situations:

Despite having the 5th most PAs (114) with the bases loaded, the Twins have yet to hit a grand slam this year. The only other team that hasn't hit one is Boston, in 102 PAs.

We're 2nd in the league in bases loaded strikeouts (30). However, we're 10th in batting average (.295) with the bases loaded, and tied for 9th in RBIs (77). We've hit 20 singles, 7 doubles, and 1 triple in bases loaded situations. We're also had 10 bases loaded walks, 1 HBP, 8 sac flies, and have only grounded into 4 double-plays.

Just to compare, Pittsburgh leads the league in bases loaded PAs (133), they have 1 grand slam, a .232 average, the same number of RBIs as us (77), but have grounded into a whopping 16 bases loaded double plays. Big surprise, the Dodgers lead the league in grand slams with 7.
