The author examined eight cases from the urological department of the hospital on the right side of the Isar, five cases from the Rosenheim municipal hospital, and three cases from the General Hospital Hamburg-St. Georg, in which injuries of the penis due to masturbation by a vacuum cleaner were determined. In all cases where the device used was known, it was the model Kobold, a hand-held vacuum cleaner from Vorwerk. The patients had inserted the non-erect penis into the eleven centimeter long suction nozzle of the vacuum cleaner, to be sexually stimulated by the airflow. However, they had come into contact with the rotating fan of the device and had contracted multiple crack-pinch wastes. The author explains the inability of those affected to recognize the dangers of this masturbation practice with their very low level of education. There was no self-defeating behavior.
