I am mostly interested in Southeast Asian girls. Due to my interest in anime and related popular culture/arts, in practice that mostly comes down to Japanese girls, though I've also seen cute Taiwanese, Chinese and even Filipino and Vietnamese ones that are into those things.
However, on SNS I usually only see them surrounded by other asian people, including men, so I had a difficult time imagining myself next to them.
Would they even be interested in white guys? Would my height (185 cm) be scary/off-putting to them?
So when I found out about the term 'WMAF' and consecutively this sub it gave me a great point of reference for pics that could ease these anxieties.
Since then I also started paying attention to WMAF couples IRL (a rare occurance in my country/area) and when I saw one with a similar height difference as I would have with most girls I'm interested in (about 30cm) it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside because, after all, it looked completely fine and adorable in real life.
