Question from a newbie. Grinder Vs hand Jig

You do understand the difference between a primary bevel and a secondary bevel, right? I assume not by your reply. Do you mind giving me a summary of the process of turning a piece of blade steel into a knife, listing the details of your process? You seem to think that making a knife consists of having a finished knife with a dull edge and sharpening said edge. Sadly, that isnt how you MAKE a knife from scratch.

You keep talking about secondary bevels (i'll do you the kindness of telling you that is the edge) while I keep telling you that the original post you replied to had nothing to do with the small niche of bladesmithing you seem to be an armchair expert in.

If youd like, I can send you this link:

For all ideas and purposes, go email these Master Bladesmiths and tell them they are imbiciles and you know better than them, these guys work ridiculously hard and I'm sure they could use a good laugh. There's only 4 pages of master bladesmiths that you need to convince that you know more about their lifelong pursuit based on 1 forum post. After that the Journeyman bladesmiths should be a piece of cake.
