Love how at the end of that article it completely brushes off countries that have low murder rates and strict gun laws by saying "b-b-but these countries have always been safe."

They even dedicate an entire paragraph bashing cross sectional data after using cross sectional data for the entire article!

Whoever wrote that article is as stupid as the people in this sub. Of course gun laws aren't going to work in DC or Chicago when anyone there can drive 50 fucking miles and buy any weapon they want completely anonymously.

Moot point though. Politicians here have a breaking point that's being reached because of more and more dead children (thanks to zealots like you). Common sense gun laws and an edit to the second amendment are all but guaranteed in the coming decades.
