Reading this subreddit every day makes me feel like I'm the only one who joined the BoS because of their views. [slight spoilers]

Warning This comment contains a massive spoiler for the BoS, you have been warned.

On my first playthrough I sided with the BoS beacause the idea of mechanical humans just made me feel... Uncomfortable. Nick Valentine and all that i'll talk about it later. Halfway through the BoS storyline you discover that Paladin Danse (The man that got you in the BoS) is a synth, and you are ordered to go and exterminate him.. This blew my mind. At the start i was like "Fuck the Synths!". But now everything was a blurr. I didn't know if should keep working for the BoS, and then i made the decision. To keep Danse alive and join the Railroad. But it didn't go as planned.

You see Danse didn't know he was a synth, and when he found out he fled. He hid in a abandoned base waiting for you to kill him. When you finally go toe to toe with Danse he asks you to kill him. He wants to die. But if you have high Charisma you can persuade him to leave the Commonwealth. After all that you leave from the place Dnase was hiding and...You get discovered by Elder Maxson. He questions you why did you hesitate. After trying to convince him he starts explaining why the synths and the institute was the enemy. And well I instead got convinced and killed poor Danse.

I continued playing the game with the firepower of BoS at my back at took down the institute. We just blew it up. With motherfucking nuclear explosion. After the " big kaboom" i felt wrong. And not only that, we destroyed the railroad also. I felt like i did the wrong thing

And finally Nick. Nick Valentine is a prototype synth with the memories of a pre-war cop named... Well... Nick. I find nick acceptable since you know, HE IS NOT MADE FROM FUCKING ORGANS. Nick is the only reason i sided with the BoS. Beacause he showed me that robots and humans are diffrent. He made me feel happy for destroying the institue, and the railroad
