I realize poorly built pallets are a cliche in this sub but Jesus

Do you know how large each warehouse is? You guys assume that we can just drive around and grab whatever to build a better pallet. We are stuck building on the fly and in whatever order the items are slotted in.

Let’s say I skip past an item because it won’t fit right currently, now I have to come back halfway across the warehouse later to grab that item when I’m done. Now if I have 400 cases total and I skip like this for even 40 different items that’s a whole 15+ mins I have to drive around at the end to grab them. That order just took me almost 15% longer. Now if you add this to every order that’s about an hour to our day. If we have 100+ selectors all doing an extra hour of work a day it really starts to add up in costs.
