My skincare routine before my wife

Being depressed/having depression is awful.

This might sound silly For me, something that has kept me busy is cleaning something. It helps me feel accomplished in some way when I get home from work. Even if I don’t really feel like it. I pick something small to clean for the day. Whether it be sweeping the floor or wiping down a counter. So at least I can say I did something good for myself and it takes my brain off of other things for a little bit.

I hope you find something that makes you want to take care of yourself in those aspects again, be it cleaning, skincare, brushing your teeth or what not.

It might be worth to try to be kind to yourself and give yourself respect, even if you don’t believe you don’t deserve it. You are the only person who can truly make a difference in how you approach your emotions.
