I really don't understand why people complain about Genie+

We took our oldest to Disney for the first time in 2018. It was spur of the moment - we booked two weeks out. Had no problem getting dining reservations or scheduling fast passes, and probably were able to use about 8-10 fast passes per day. Went the next year, booked about two months out, same deal.

Now we’re going for the first time since covid started. We just hit our 60 day mark this week. I was up at midnight booking Savi. Back up at 6:00 to book dining. Pickings for dining were slim - only got 2/4 first choices and not the best time for Chef Mickey, but we’ll make it work.

And on top of that, I have no idea what we’ll ride. At least before I could guarantee a few good rides. Now, who knows! My kids are young, so we aren’t often riding the really popular stuff. With fast pass we easily booked the more kid friendly rides all day long and rarely waited in lines. Not thinking that’s going to be the case this trip.
