Romantic Diatribe.

Oh, you don't love your current partner as you loved the former one?

I liked your piece of writing because I can relate to it directly.

Long story short: - beautiful intellectual poetress falls in love with me, online. I'm aloof, indifferent, but like her. Her love is mad, passionate.

  • platonic relationships develops over time despite each other's relationships. Somewhen I fell for her too.

  • we met each other, have VERY passionate relationship, but I must leave

  • break ups, jealousy, distance: the girl who dreamed of me becomes more or less indifferent to me. She has an incidental BF she tells me she doesn't love, but she's alright.

She's also astounded that she's not in love anymore, even if I was her dream, her soul mate. We were practically engaged, she was excited to have my children.

This could have been different, but that's not the case now. She also experiences the same as you. She contacted me to talk about how strange love is.

I think she overcame me, he who was initially indifferent.

Nature of love? I think it's the force of nature. She's young, can't afford waste her time with a platonic love that's in another country, but had she loved me like she claimed she did, she would be still in love as she was before like when we did not meet in person yet. Maybe she wants to level up? Who knows.

If your love was so intense, why did it end?
