THanks for this thread u/Brainpilot and u/Washerman83. SO helpful. I have had the same issue with my Samsung. Only 4 years old and wondering why the tub is spinning out of round after replacing shock absorbers and verifying that the bearing seems good (no play or noise). I did not take it apart to insepct the spider arm yet. Two questions for u/Washerman83 :

1. Could it need a new balance ring? I had read that the balancing ring could be the culprit.
2. What are some reliable low-budget front-loaders? We don't care about bells and whistles and usually use only two cycles, a normal and a short cycle.
