Sci-Fi Worldbuilding or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

/uj this should never be portrayed in a positive light, because media has an effect on people many don't even realize. The only responsible way to portray nuclear war of any kind in fiction is as an utterly horrific and terrible thing. That being said it does make for a good way of riding home the horrors of being an infantry soldier on the battlefield in an era where many are desensitized to the horrors of conventional weapons. The idea of tactical nukes as common weapons is rightly terrifying to most people, myself included.

Rant over. Don't want to make myself seem like one of those idiots who thinks this should actually happen in real life.
