This is amongst a class of ideas that is certainly possible with ML and AR today but we have to ask if the vulnerability to privacy created is worth it?

Where would the data you've indexed live? Who controls those databases? Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc? What happens when a truly malicious actor becomes the central authority in possession of such data?

Whenever there is a new technology surge (such as with ML and AR today, arguably), we have to consider the potential for unforeseeable consequences. Have we not learned from history what happens when we build without thinking of the long term ethical implications? In the most alarmist case for this type of product that means a future genocide where instead of having Nazi soldiers going door to door for information, you have a small fleet of autonomous drones deployed to find you through all of the data from any of the 5-10 devices you already own and live on and now your visual memory in the cloud as well.
