Some of my favorite characters.

Just to identify every character

• The first person on the list (in makeup) is the fictionalized/biopic portrayal of real life skater Tonya Harding in Itonya. She’s on the list because she reminds me of myself when I’m pissed at stuff and her ambitious pursuit of skating reminded me a lot of my own ambitious pursuit of things.

• Next to Tonya is the similarly fictionalized Hans Christian Andersen in the (pretty bullshit based) biopic ‘’Unge Andersen’’ . He’s on the list because he’s basically me when I’m being nice and his resistance also reminds me of myself.

• Next to Hans is Randall Patrick McMurphy (OFOTCN). I included both him and Nurse Ratched on the list because they’re both two sides which everyone really has. Ratched is the controlling narcissistic side which wants everyone to conform to it’s expectations and has no empathy for people who don’t do what she says. Meanwhile McMurphy is on the side of freedom and aims to let people be liberated from their troubles.

• Next to Randall is Ben Archer (Scum 1979), who’s essentially just a teenage more sophisticated version of him. With some extra sarcasm sprinkled in.

• Next to Archer is Guido the fictional director from the movie Eight And A Half. Guido is on the list because he also reminds me of myself (how can you write something if it’s not true ?).

• Next to Guido is Percy Wetmore (Green Mile). I don’t really know why I like his character so much but I guess he’s like me when I’m being a prick.

• Next to Percy is Louis Stack from the movie Darkman who like Percy is a pretty terrible piece of shit. Though I did think he kind off had a point when he said that Darkman is a meaningless murderer compared to himself when he actually tries to do something he believes is good.

• Next to Louis is the OUAT rendition of Snow White. She’s on the list because she struck me as a good person. The scene were she rejects Maleficent due to not wanting to lose her own values in her pursuit was really the moment that made me respect her.

• Next to her is Sylvia from Drag Me to hell. She’s on the list because I liked her more than the protagonist and because she did have some reason to be angry.

• Next to her is Baroness von Hellman, she (along with Cruella underneath) is on the list because I was somewhat impressed with how ambitious she was (even if she was a terrible person because of it) and because I liked her personality.

• Under Tonya we have Willy Wonka. Who’s on the list for being wonderful and business driven.

• Next to Wonka we have Annie Wilkes (Misery). She’s on the list because I liked her more than Paul and because her situation spoke to me (alone in a place where people don’t like you and constantly haunted by some desire, not to forget Annie’s joy out of Paul’s novel and her obsession with it).

• Next to Annie is Tracy Flick (Election). Like the other characters she’s on the list because I like ambitious people and because Tracy is essentially me if you just gender flip her and switch ambitions (I normally loath politicians but she's not too bad).

• Next to Tracy is Eve Harrington. The titular character from the movie All About Eve. She’s on the list because I liked her more than the other characters and genuinely wanted to see her win and achieve her dreams.

• Next to Eve is Maurice from the movie Maurice. He’s on the list because he reminds me of personal stuff.

• Next to Maurice is Ofelia (Pan's Labyrinth), She’s on the list because of her rejection of blind obedience and her wonderous pursuit of magic.

• Next to Ofelia is Hannah Khanwald (probably misspelled last name) from the tv series Dark. She’s on the list because she’s ambitious and cunning. As well as genuinely one of the most interesting characters on TV.

• Next to Hannah is Jessica Jones. She’s on the list because of how heroic she is. Being willing to break the law and look down on herself, yet she still always does what she believes is right even if that means she’ll fuck up. I think she’s a hero even more so because she won’t ever say it herself.

• Next to Jessica is Esther (Orphan). She’s on the list cause she had a point about the protagonist taking her family for granted and because she was entertaining enough for me to wish she had won in the end (not the pedophilia thing but the kill the family thing).

• Then we Have Shirley Jackson as portrayed by Elisabeth moss in the highly fictional ‘’Shirley’’ which sees an AU version of Shirley Jackson in which she’s a psychic lesbian witch. She’s included in the list because she’s basically me when I get tired, lazy, or just weird.

• Underneath Shirley is the Spanish Queen / protagonist wife. From the movie The Fountain she’s on the list because she struck me as emotional, kind, intelligent, and honorable.

• Next to Ratched is Babydoll (Sucker Punch), she’s on the list because she’s a hero and her quest for freedom and self-realization was beautiful.

• Next to Babydoll is Chauncey Gardner/chance the protagonist from Being There. Because his personality appealed to me.

• Next to Chauncey is Freddie Lounds. The garish dresser from Hannibal, she’s on the list for being ambitious and cunning. As well as having a great fashion sense and an eye for the truth (to some extent).

• Next to Freddie is The Screenslaver (incredibles 2) he’s on the list because he looks cool and he kind off had a point.

• Next to the screenslaver is Jonesy the cat. A lot of people often say Ripley is the best character in the Alien series but I think she’s second to space kitty who basically outlived her.

• Under Jonesy is the priest from Diary of A Country Priest, who’s on the list for his faith and his dedication.

• Next to the priest is Fozzie Bear (Muppets), who’s on the list for his personality and kindness.

• Under Fozzie is Bedelia Du Maurier (From Hannibal) , who struck me due to her warped mindset and intriguing character.
