Yeah, I guess it’s just a matter of what we individually associate with the church in general. For me as someone who has always considered religion to be an important part of my life I see my own community church filled with good men and women who are there with only honest intentions. For someone else they could see bad actors molesting children or missionaries suppressing the culture of Native Americans. It’s just too bad that this person did something so childish that really only gives credibility to people who would cover for the Catholic Church, honestly if the arsonist thought for more than 5 minutes about the “message” they were trying to send I think they would reconsider
