Stairs after Labral Reconstruction and PAO

Dr. Swann also did my PAO! He is for sure a man of few words and if you don't remind yourself of that he can sometimes come off a bit gruff. Especially at 5am at the hospital day of surgery. He did a fantastic job though. Hopefully I will never have to have a PAO again but if I do I will do it with Dr. Swann.

One note if you have your PAO at Skyridge medical center with Swann. The nursing staff was amazing and Dr. Swann and Caleb (His PA) are fantastic but the hospital staff really pushed me to go home the day after my surgery. Everyone is different but I felt pretty good at the hospital and believed them when they said I was ready to leave. But in reality my pain blockers hadn't fully worn off so when I got home all hell broke loose. They had to prescribe some really gnarly stuff to get me back on track. It is sooo much easier for them to handle severe breakthrough pain at the hospital. Make sure they confirm that everything has worn off and you have a sense of your pain baseline BEFORE they send you home!
