Of course they are at fault. If you simply don't use that email anymore you'd have no idea. Heck I use that email and I saw nothing until today. Pretty sure Gmail puts it in the promotion section automatically which usually means it's junk, thank god mine didn't renew until the 19th. It has been 16 months since anyone last expected to be billed for it. Starting up auto-renewal is absurd, defending that tactic is ridiculous. It would have been just as easy to use up the remaining days and not bill again until the user actually decides on their own to do it.. It's obvious why they wouldn't do that though, especially with all the money they need to make up for the last year.
