So...a friend in real life texted me earlier and told me about this thread. And yes, I did decide to leave reddit all together (because I guess my very existence as a First Nations person makes me racist ???) and I come here to see that OP, /u/TheStrangeView, has been banned. I was temporarily banned from /r/toronto...I don't sock puppet...that user is not me. While user names are similar, that user is not me.

I'm making this post because I have not been banned from reddit as a whole.

That's all I'm posting though. I do, however, continue to appreciate this sub and it's moderators :) It's reddit as a public corporation subsidiary and their policy of reiterating the racist myth that racism can only happen to black people that I'm withdrawing from reddit as a whole, not you :)
