Suggestions on canceling unresponsive Energy Ogre membership

I signed up with EO (monthly membership) on 05/23 and selected 05/31 as my start date on their member portal. Later on, I was informed that my apartment would be accessible on 05/30 itself, so since 05/25, every single day I've been trying to get a hold of EO's customer service but FFS I've never been able to get in touch with any person on their number. I've been on hold for even up to 1.5 hours at various points over the 3 days, I've sent them e-mails, and even messages from their portal itself, but just no luck.

They sent an email that said "we are working on your plan" 3 months ago- and never signed me to a new plan. I ended up signing myself up b/c I was about to go to a variable rate (the weekend of high grid demand where energy was 5000MW). I called and asked what they even do- they said they have been waiting because prices are high rn. I asked them why they didn't break my contract before May (something they said that they do) and sign me up w/ a cheaper rate? They told me that prices have been going up since December- I mean, if you are experts in the energy market and prices have increasing since Dec, wouldn't it stand to reason that they would be at a peak premium going into summer?!!! I kept getting transferred and they said they would reach out to the energy co. I am using and see if they cannot get my rate reduced... SURPRISE they didn't do shit. I called them and they said the best rate was what I had. I again asked them what I am paying a premium for - they said- GET THIS- to "manage" my account (ie pay my electric bill - which I set up with auto draft myself). They have no useful market insight or skills. I have asked around and I do not know one person that uses them that have had them do anything more than park them in a contract for a year at a time, no shuffling for the best rate mid contracts. I fear EO is nothing more than a scam.
