Affordable/niceish area to live

I know there’s some generic answers on this post, but I can say that I live in the average area of Round Rock, not in one of the nicer areas, not in one of the brand new developments, but probably on the 3/4 apartment (1=Low Income, 2= Cheap Price, bad Service, 3=Above Average Rent, Good Services, 4=High Rent, Amazing Community) scale. I have a 2/2 apartment with a small yard and separate garage, and I pay right at $2,000 a month; plus utilities. There are SO many grocery stores and walking paths in this area, it’s almost harder to not move near one, lol. So don’t worry too much about that. Especially if you’re willing to drive 10 minutes.

Admittedly, with good credit or a good realtor you can find a newer house for that rent payment. And there are certainly cheaper apartments out there. But also, this area of Texas is certainly a metropolis; North Austin, Pflugerville, Hutto, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown are all within 30 minutes of one another, so just know that if your job is in North Round Rock, it might be just as easy to find a cheap home in Jarrell, or apartment in Georgetown.
