Oh boy. Way to stir the pot! LOL. I get where OP is coming from. Not being able to find the kind of inspiration your looking for is frustrating. I just don’t understand the thought behind complaining about not seeing enough diversity and placing the blame on someone’s creations as if it’s the shops fault they are a success.
It seems hypocritical to complain about variety when you don’t offer anything to community in terms of inspiration. I hope this inspires you to think outside the box instead of relying on others creative content to fuel your spreads.
Some advice, try looking into discbound and ring bound planner content. It seems counterintuitive however they tend to lean more minimal and you might find you can apply some of the same concepts/layout to the Hobonichi.
Some creators I enjoy on the minimal front are madyplans and plan2create.
I probably wouldn’t have called them “little bald characters” as it seems to be in poor taste knowing that someone in the community put a lot of hard work into developing their art. I perhaps am used to a little more decorum in the sector of the community I find myself in but I digress.
