[Theory] Trust the process, except when you don't.

100% agree. I recently created an IDP league with my friends who were interested in doing a dynasty IDP league and I absolutely love it - it's the only league I really care about anymore. I also absolutely fumbled the startup draft since I didn't really know what I was doing with IDP. I was just going with fantasypro rankings without doing my own research on difference in positions, scoring, etc. For example, I focused heavily on DB instead of LB (the premier position for IDP because of their heavy tackling) or even getting premier DL, which are few and far between. DB is the most replaceable position and two of the ones I drafted early aren't even good this year (Peppers and JJ3). Through trading and good waiver wire picks, though, I now have a studly LB corps (picked up Kenny Young, Denzel Perryman, and Cole Holcomb from waivers), and traded for Maxx Crosby and Shaquill Barrett. I now have one of the best IDP floors in the league and couldn't be happier with the process in getting there.
