Atom-typhoon-blizzard does well against it as long as they don't get unusually lucky with their start and their first minute. I've even beat them several bosses down the line, even after they one-shit the bosses and I had to take the boss hits. Once you get enough pips in your top line, and a full or nearly full board, you as an Atom-phoon player just have so many more options for repair and resilience than they do. Things can look really bad (and getting worse each round) and you can even get really alarmed about the mobs making it 80-90 percent of the way around the track before a boss and you can STILL win if you last long enough. Eventually their damage doesn't keep up with mob health increase and your Atom wall doesn't have that problem because it's HP% damage.

I'm not saying it's a silver bullet but you can hold your own at least.
