I can't say I'm privy to what goes on behind closed doors with regards to this podcast. I have only seen a few snippets here and there and from what I saw it seamed constructive. With the post frequency and upvote ratio I have not been concerned in the discussion here being diluted or that it wasn't appropriate given the discussion it was generating.

In hightsight however, advertising for people to come on is probably a step too far and this is something that into the future I think I'll reconsider. It can bring a lot of outside issues into the subreddit (as I think your aluding too). As this post has already been approved though I shall keep it up as well as being a record for this convo.
