Always understaff and the tuition is rocket high. Can we have the money back?

I was going to go on a tirade about “where does our tuition actually go if it’s not towards hiring 3 people that will vastly improve the lives of nearly 4000 students”, but I just decided to look at the budget myself and holy shit, what poor soul(s) has to write this.

$692,881 base is provided to enhance university advancement.

What the fuck does that even mean. Literally no further information.

.

$650,000 one-time to develop a university utility master plan.

Could you not like, use last years? What fucking utilities changed? $650k to close water fountains?

.

21-22 Executive Vice President and Provost budget: $13.4 million

21-22 budget for literally the whole College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty and staff: $12.994 million

lmao

I’m probably misunderstanding this whole thing, I’m not a finance major and it’s 4 in the morning, but damn for literally a billion dollar organization you woulda thought they’d spare the expense for 3 more goddamn student advisors. Maybe parking ticket profit (yeah they literally profit off that shit look in the approved budget) could pay for a big chunk of it.
