Tips for Quitting Vaping

Do you use nicotine in your value if so how much?

AVG cigarette is 10-20mg but only 1-2mg is absorbed. 10% effective

Vaping is a better delivery method compared to smoking (85-100%, use 100% to be on the good side) so it's easier to become more addicted to nicotine. You need to do the maths for yourself and ween down the nicotine.

Use a plain mixture, 70-30 and add nicotine shots to customise nicotine content. E.g 50ml of 70/30 add 10 ml of 18mg/ml nicotine. == 60ml @3mg/ml.

My journey:

Week 1, I started on 3mg/ml vape and smoked vape when ever I wanted as much as I needed while my body was missing the harmful chemicals on cigarettes.

This was to get use to vape and get an upper baseline. I smoked around 4-5ml / day = 12-15mg nicotine or 7-15 cigarettes, which matched perfectly to my cigarette usage.

Week 2- stick to week 1 amount. Don't increase.

Weeks 3-4, drop your mg/ml by 50%, for me was 1.5mg/ml to 4-5ml/day...

Keep reducing nicotine. After 2 months I was at 0 mg/ml and was noticing when I was busy/enjoying myself, I never felt the urge to vape. I still liked the habit of vaping though.

Now I'm focusing on removing the habit/smoking no nicotine vape... I'm finding my brain likes the relaxation time. So mainly I sit outside and relax instead of vape.

Vape can be so much worse if used blindly but with a plan it really helped me, cut nicotine, remove the to habit.

I do see how it can be much easier to fall back to cigarettes or increase nicotine dependence through this method.
