Just trying to be informative but tomahawk rib-eyes are a total rip off as you pay by the weight which includes a giant piece of bone (at the $/lbs of a ribeye). A regular ribeye or a true tomahawk steak which includes the ribeye + a bunch more meat are much friendlier options.

Check out the steak episode of Price Points on YouTube if you are interested. They go over tomahawk steaks at the 8min mark. I can’t even find I picture of a true tomahawk steak on google they are all tomahawk ribeyes.

I just found this out when this episode released so I figured I should spread the knowledge. As a week ago I would have thought this was a tomahawk steak.
