As a veteran who did some shit, I hate the ol’ saying “your country doesn’t care about you”. I hate it because when I was in for 7 years, I took advantage of the free schooling they gave me. I took advantage of the free health care and dental work they provided for me. I took advantage of the GI Bill they provided me after already getting free college!!!! I’m sorry but if you join the military and you’re not disciplined enough to out grow the military, and need someone to hold your hand through life, you have no one to blame but yourself and maybe your parents! Also to add a couple more cents, if you Volunteered to be in a combat arms role, you volunteered!! Uncle Sam didn’t draft you like they did in Vietnam and assign you a job, your Dmbass signed the papers yourself.

You think if I become a delivery driver for amazon and hurt my back that they’re going to pay me for the rest of my life like the VA does? Hell no, so we’re already getting treated better than everybody else.
