POV : you weren't loved as a child and would prolly won't feel a touch of any woman ever

First of all, they're not hate subreddits. They're spoiler subreddits for discussing things that the normy subreddits wouldn't understand. Theories, ideas, flaws, etc. The fact that you don't even go on r/piratefolk proves to me you're a hypocrite. That's where the real discussions happen. That's where we actually talk about thought-provoking and interesting concepts within the show.

Again: One Piece is great and I love it, but it has too many flaws to be considered a masterpiece. You can't just bring the bar down because of emotional connection to a series. I rate One Piece a 9/10 as it's my subjective rating. As an actual story, it falls closer to a 7.5/10. Why? Scenes like Sanji having to get surgery for bleeding too much after seeing a mermaid, or the fact that Kinemon is still alive are just a couple small moments that you would never find in any other highly-lauded story.
