Yes this is exactly what I read before asking the question to ask if I could set it up with two VMs on a dedicated rented Linux server with SSH access. I'd be following that exact tutorial. But others said it wouldnt work because I'd have to access the internet through the host operating system to route it into the gateway meaning either expose IP or have two Tor circuits. If you're part of the project just tell me whether or not I can set it up inside 2 VMs with a Linux operating system as host and host the hidden service inside the workstation and still have the traffic all routed through Whonix gateway meaning my service wont be exposed by the host operating system.

Like can you tell me if that would work.
