Hello u/redstone_noob. Speaking as someone who started as a tester and works almost full-time with uTest I can tell you there is plenty of opportunity there. Just in my team there are almost 10 people from India and we're talking about a 50 people crew.

What I can suggest you is to work to improve your ratings because this will help you to stand out and get more invitations, and also be patient! Many people leave uTest after one week or two because they had the misconception that they would make big money right away and that's not the case. Doing the Academy courses and participating in the practice cycles will be crucial for you to understand how the platform works and make your way there.

Those who were persistent and stayed reaped the results and are making good money and some were even invited to work with testing service or in the Community Management (my case).
