Changelog :
-Complete rewrite of the multiboxing feature
-Fixed an issue where the scan was stopped prematurely
-The current area being scanned should now show up as a red circle
-Multiboxing accounts are now added via a dialog box
-You can only add PTC accounts for multiboxing. This is intentional as a google login only lasts for 30 minutes, which means you would have to reenter all your google multiboxing accounts every 30 mins to use in multiboxing.
Known bugs : -When adding an account, the progress arrow keeps spinning until the refresh button is pressed. -Scanning does not show any pokemon -When many accounts are added, the remove button of some of the rows overlap with the add button

EDIT: Some feedback: when the scan is done, if there are new pokemon they won't show up immediately unless I move the map around a little bit.

I'll add two more and try again.

3 nicedesune • 16h The scanning seems to miss some pokemon as it passes. Offsetting the location of the scan reveals more pokemon. Sometimes the scan points perfectly overlap and even miss areas. Excellent update! This subreddit is trending btw.
6 QuaxTal • 12h I assume the original intent of non-overlapping scans is for speed to complete the overall search faster. With this build allowing for multiple accounts, I would prefer accuracy (overlapping scans) over speed (solved by using more accounts).
3 niayh • 1h I actually just experienced this myself after work.
Went to my local park (aka Ponyta nest) to grab a ponyta I saw on the map, walked in a loop and came back because it had respawned and on my way home I ran into another Ponyta that hadn't appeared on the map.
Scanned again, still didn't show up. Nudged the map a bit over, rescanned -- sure enough, the second ponyta showed up.
1 frogduck1 • 15h App is looking great. Got my 10 accounts connected, its showing all the little red circles as it scans but I'm not getting any pokemon showing up :( scan takes about 20/25 seconds to complete.
edit: Also have 1.7.6 installed and that seems to scan fine. Is there some kind of clash with the 2 apps?

Maybe you have to catch the starter pokemon and assign a nickname too.
3 frogduck1 • 15h Yeah, e-mail has been verified and all signed in fine. I've been using another account without a starter pokemon on the stable versions of the app fine so far.
1 EleGiggle • 15h Weird. I have both versions installed and it works for me. I verified 3/5 e-mails, caught the starter and chose a nickname for each account.
I'm still waiting for the last two mails. No idea why it's taking so long. I'm using the same website.
2 Computer991Developer • 14h Hi! I've created a few accounts and I don't think you need to catch the started pokemon :P just a little FYI (save you a bit of time)
5 Danteleet • 14h I have the same issue as these people, only a few pokemon will show up.
I've tested in some dense pokemon areas and it seems like out of the 10 accounts, only 1-2 are actually returning a result. Sometimes an area will be scanned and won't show anything, but if i fully zoom in and scan only 1 area then i'll usually have the result (because it uses one of the first 2 accounts i registered, i presume).
Coincidentally, I have done the tutorial and all with both those accounts, but not the other 8. Are you positive that this shouldn't be needed? Should I just go and run the tutorials or is it something that can be fixed ?

1 • AlmostAverage • 9h I'd like to chime in that I had the same issue with only red circles showing up in an area I knew to be highly populated with Pokemon. Did the tutorial and all was well.
2 • grimgaw • 14h Seems like trying to log in into POGO with new account gives 'Unable to authenticate' message on first try. Perhaps it's something new introduced by niantic?

1 KerebrusMK6 • 13h I'm using 10 accounts, have not logged into any of them other than adding to the current Alpha build, have not verified any of them via email, and all is working fine.
1 xeeqtR • 8h Agreed. I've used it for a few hours with a few accounts, only verified via email - didn't actually login to PoGo with them and catch any critters! Interestingly, i did try to login with one of the PTC accounts with the game (when PTC sign in failed) and it won't authenticate in PoGo, but still signs into PTC using scanner app fine
Edit: PTC servers down, wasnt pokescanner causing any odd behaviour with accounts used with the scanner :)

2 Ronaldo1976 • 2m I set up 8 accounts to begin with using http://www.fakemailgenerator.com, the verification email will be send to that page aswell. You can open it using pdf reader and verify your PTC account. After setting them up and adding them to 1.8.0. (Refresh button to get them confirmed) the map didnt show pokemon..only the red circles. After changing setting to low and reatarting app it still didnt work. Then i tried logging in with one of the accounts on pokemon go and completed the tutorial. After the nickname was accepted i exit pokemon go and tried alpha scan again and 2 pokemon showed up on the map. I repeated the same thing with the next account..tutorial..nickname..leave app and try alpha again..and 4 or 5 pokemon showed up.
