Have been dealing with hair loss as a teen.

You can try Rogaine, or anything with Minoxidil. The downside is you'd have to apply it every day for at least eight weeks before you start seeing results. Eventually those pennies are going to start adding up, and after a certain period of time the effectiveness will start wearing off after six to eight years. There is also Procpecia, however there are studies show that while it does slow hair loss, it doesn't help with regrowth.

My personal opinion: embrace it. I started losing my hair at around your age and did everything that I could to try and fight Male Pattern Baldness as well. I was self-conscious, thought there was no way anybody would want to be with me since I was going bald. I was around 25 when I finally started realizing that I was losing the battle with hair loss and started buzzing my hair. I was 30 when I accepted it and started shaving it off completely.

Guess what happened? It didn't change anything. If anything the confidence I had from embracing my baldness made things infinitely better! Women still approached me. People that I worked with, as well as my own family, thought I looked even better. Looking back at old pictures of myself with my wife, she'll poke fun at me for having hair and trying to hide the baldness.

You can fight nature and genetics for as long as you want. But they'll win out. Every. Single. Time. Embrace it. If people decide to judge you or make fun of you over it: screw 'em. Be comfortable in your own skin and not worry about the opinions of anyone else.
