Very interested, what's the population like?

you'd probably be asking people for tips as opposed to getting kills right away.

You can read all the guides and tips you want, they only help to a small point. The majority of the skill in these games comes from experience: you can't just read up on "if you're flying at 100 units per second, and your opponent is flying at 120 units per second parallel to you, to aim 20 degrees past them." Factual as it may be, no one can do that on the fly. It all comes from the feel of the game, as cheesy as that may sound.

This is why I think it's new player unfriendly. It's entirely possible to get good as a new player, versus what appear to be gods. It just requires a lot of dying, and I can't imagine anyone sane enough to withstand the frustration that would cause.

Waiting it out to see if it the game gets popular just seems like the best thing to do in any situation. Personally, I'm a massive fan of the tribes series. That being said, I still haven't bought into the game since I'm cautious about it dying in half a year like every other fps-z game released recently.

I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, I just wanna elaborate on my views.
