Hi everyone! I have a long haul flight in two weeks, departing from Frankfurt Airport with Condor Airlines. I have heard lots of stories about lost baggage and long queues due to staff shortages, so I would like to ask you:

• My plane takes off at 11:40. What is the best time that I should drop off my checked baggage? Is it true that, if I drop it off the night before, I can reduce the chances of it getting lost?
• I also booked the Rail&Fly option (I need to travel 3 hours by train to get to FRA). Can I use it to travel on an ICE train to Frankfurt on the day before my flight? Or is it valid only on the same date of the flight?
• Would you recommend to book the “Priority Package” or Condor’s travel insurance to avoid any issues?
