Anyone working Corporate Finance or Marketing/Media Management who is willing to share some info?

> CV writing is still a a little ways off for us though.

What? Just to give you a heads up: B.A. and B.Sc. mean basically nothing in Germany. There are way too many people graduating with these titles. DO NOT EMPHASIZE THOSE. I don't mean don't mention them but don't rely on them as a distinguishing factor. The term "bachelor" is way more associated with the TV show here than the academic achievement (Fuck German bureaucracy).

I get the feeling that you don't know what you're trying to accomplish and just have an idea of "breaking in" to this system. Even if you have foreign EU "good" grades. Not very many care (or know) about GPAs (please get those translated or transposed into German grading).

You will encounter a lot of racism and discrimination looking for a place to live. I wish it wasn't the case but that's what we have to deal with. The internet is mostly crap, mobile data is often inaccessible.

I would love to guide you guys here but I'm also afraid of all the stuff that no one told you before. What I've come to realize after travelling a bunch is that:

Germany is not a promised land of fast cars, great healthcare and plenty of drinking. The country has about (if not more) problems than any other nation. There is racism, nespotism, fake news, dogmatic law magic and many other things.

Germany is NOT the promised land. Compared to a lot of the places in the world, it is AWESOME.

There are many reasons why but that will be part of a book I need to write.

The question is: Have you made your decision to flee to: <GERMANY>?

If the answer is ANYTHING BUT that what are the arguments about <ANY OTHER COUNTRY>.

Please take time to compare those, I bet anyone from the countries is as happy as I am to provide more details.

None of us don't want you to move here. What we DO NOT WANT is you coming here and being disappointed because it's not ANY BETTER.
