what bothers you on vinted?

I don’t really sell much on Vinted, I mainly buy, so the majority of my issues stem from my buying experience.

  1. Sellers asking for reviews

  2. Sellers telling you your item has arrived

  3. Sellers describing something as ‘new with tags’ and then stating ‘worn once’ in the description. When it arrives, it’s neither of these and is instead in very poor condition.

  4. The fact I then have to pay to send the item back, even though it’s the seller who is completely at fault. I always end up out of pocket in these situations.

  5. Sellers can not offer partial refunds if they’ve sent something not as described, they have to PayPal a partial. I think the seller should have to pay for a return if they’re at fault. They lose nothing in these situations, but the buyer doesn’t get their item and has to fork out for postage. There is no incentive for shit sellers to be honest about what they’re selling.

  6. Commercial sellers are clearly on this app. This is frustrating because it affects the sale price of items and drives them up, meaning getting good deals becomes harder.

  7. Sellers asking you not to like their items unless you’re going to buy. Erm no, the favourite function is for me, not you.

  8. Sellers that raise the price after you have requested a bundle. I’ve had it happen numerous times where I’ve requested a bundle, and the seller then sends back an offer for a higher amount. I even had it one time where I was paying for the bundle, and they’d sent an offer for the increased price, and I was charged the higher price, but I had no idea till after I’d paid. I asked to cancel that order obviously.

  9. Following on from above, when asking for a bundle, sellers that reply with something along the lines of ‘not for that price!’. Well, I didn’t set your prices?

These are things that have happened several times, so not just one offs.
