Weekly Case & Parts Recommendation Thread (Start here if you are new! Help here if you can!)

This is a very open ended question - the answer really depends on the case and components. The Dan A4 with a custom loop can quietly cool a 12900k and a 3070 with the right parts. The NR200p still has a lot of flexibility and opportunity for creative custom loops that I suspect can tame the next gen CPUs and GPUs.

Also, the hypothetical is hard to answer because we also don't know what cases or cooling hardware will exist in the future. But the path so far has been more powerful computers in smaller cases with better performance. The Mac Studio with the M1 chip is a good example. Who would've expected a company would come up with a 50watt cpu that can outperform 200w ones?

The reality is computer parts are not just becoming more powerful, they are also becoming much more efficient. So I expect the wattage to level out not too long from now. Which means SFF should be safe... for now.
