What is everyday life like for the Israeli Arab?

I would say that really depends on the person themselves... But I'll tell you about myself, although I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask because I don't exactly live in Israel anymore...

Life in general is pretty laid back... I come from a small town about 15 kilometers North of Nazareth... and in day to day life you wouldn't be exposed much to "Israel," what I mean by that is that unless you work or go to university, you are most likely to stay in your home town, which in my case consists of only Arabs, and they're the people I see all the time... I've never really mixed with Jewish people a lot in my life... I'm currently 20 years old, and I live in Germany, so that's why I said I'm not the best person to ask... But I worked for a year in a Jewish city with both Jewish and Arab colleagues, and the thing was that we used to work in English and used to speak in English to each other most of the time, which was an interesting thing because, when you're speaking in Hebrew with a Jewish colleague, which would be your second language, you're sorta put on the back foot, but when English was spoken, I felt as equal because we all would be speaking the language in the same level. Most of those people were great people, both the Jews and the Arabs, and we'd always have a good time during work, and would always talk and joke together, but that's where it all ends. We rarely talked or did anything after work. There seems to be some sort of an invisible barrier in between the two people which I can't really explain... You just feel it, it's there...

It's a bit difficult to generally speak about this issue, but if you have specific questions, I'd be more than happy to answer.
