What’s you biggest training headache?

This is a great answer. There is no training without culture.

In my last job, I built a complete training and certification program for our marketing team that was very well-liked. We used it to train new associates, and we would update and re-shoot videos with our more experienced team members to honor their abilities within the company. It was a big hit, and most importantly for me, resulted in better performance across the board.

Well, I left in May, and there is no training program now. The rest are dropping out one by one - not because there is no more training program, but because there is no more culture to support one. High quality training is born of a definition of excellence and a commitment to achieve it. When your commitment is to spending less money on your people because you think it's all overhead, you're bound to pay for it anyway through diminished performance. But then again, some bosses really don't care, which is why I no longer work there. #Duces
