A great time to make a list, while also remembering that this team is full of competitors and champions that will not go quiet into the night (I am on team tank but am preparing for the probability they do make the play-in and make some noise):

• No home arena/city since the start of the Bubble last season
• Those who stayed in Toronto during the pandemic were under stricter quarantines than the States.
• No true centre
• The centre (the anchor) we did get was brought into a complex system with a very short off-season.
• When players like Norm can’t come off the bench effectively our bench suffers.
• Except for Boucher who has some major issues on Defense the rest of the bench has fallen off from last year.
• Some of our players feed off the energy of Scotiabank place.
• Got hit really bad by COVID (3 starters, 5 players, 5 coaches including HC).
