Whenever Turkey gets mentioned/posted about on r/europe:

I’m actually great at Geography. Turkey is a country in Western Asia, Middle East and Southeast Europe which means it’s all 3, therefore it counts as all 3. By your logic, Russia isn’t in Europe either when it has a border both in Europe and Asia, so here goes ‘’Eurasia’’ which might be what Turkey fits as well. However, it counts in ‘Europe’ too hence why it gets included in European topics ¯_(ツ)_/¯

By the way, majority of Iranians aren’t Arabs but they count in Western Asia. Like most Turks, they’re closely related to certain European groups
