So who was the worst-ever uke you ever trained with? The one that, years later, you're still shaking your head and saying "wtf, dude?"

Sometime in 2003 or 2004 I picked a seemingly interested guy from our dojo to do some reality drills with. I wanted us to basically push each other, maybe throw some profanity, and see what technique the other can pull off on the pushes.

The guy was taller and bigger than me, and higher in rank by a kyu or two.

We stayed after class, and it was just the two of us in the dojo.

So he started yelling profanity at me, pushing me around, and countered my techniques. Somehow our little game quickly degraded into him constantly pushing me around the mat while calling me names. My turn to be the "attacker" stopped coming up.

I told him that we are finished, and he kept mocking me and not letting me leave the mat. Eventually we got into a half-assed grappling match, at which point he got me into a nikkyo. I could get out of the nikkyo, but I realized that his brain wasn't going to snap out of it until he registered a "victory", and escalation wasn't in my best interest.

So while "holding me" in nikkyo, he started yelling "What does a warrior want? What does a warrior want?!"

At that point I was pretty freaked out and didn't say anything. He yelled "Peace! Peace is what a warrior wants!!" and let me go.

Coincidentally, he quickly moved to another state after that. Maybe he wanted to misbehave before he left, who knows. Oh, and he was studying to be a psychiatrist.
