Will Uncharted 4 have good shooting mechanics, unlike its predecessors?

Let me start off by saying, yes, shoulder swap should be able to be saved to default. But a lot of this post was unnecessary.

Compounding the problem further, there are almost 0 useful gameplay/shooting options in Naughty Dog games.

I'd say aiming sensitivity is pretty damn useful. I don't know what else you need. Anything else is just extra.

See, I don't know what you mean by "mechanics" when the only thing you're talking about is shoulder swapping. Uncharted has always had "good shooting mechanics," so I don't know you're beef with their mechanics other than shoulder swap.

That's incredibly broken

Not having shoulder swap pre-sets doesn't make the game broken. MAYBE you could make an argument if shoulder swap didn't exist at all, but even then that's a tough one to make.

I'm skeptical that the shooting mechanics will be up to industry standards in UC4, based on the terrible mechanics

Again, you talk about "terrible mechanics" but there's nothing wrong with the shooting mechanics. You're just asking for an extra feature, but that doesn't make the mechanics "terrible" or the game "broken."

Furthermore, if we're talking industry standards, I remember SOCOM having issues with shoulder swap and afaik you couldn't save it to default. Afaik in Battlefront you can't save it to default although you can swap while not aiming. In the new Division beta from what I've played you can also only shoulder swap while ADS and you can't save. From what I can tell Fallout 4 (and some other old Tom Clancy games like Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6) don't even have shoulder swap.

So I really don't know these supposed "industry standards" you're talking about. ND is fine in that respect if the recently released Fallout 4 (as far as I know) doesn't even HAVE the option to shoulder swap.
