Compliments that are broadcast loudly in front of other people and then laughed about are not really compliments.

There could be a variety of things happening here.

Likely, you probably look semi uncomfortable and they get a kick out of making you uncomfortable. They likely talk about you after you walk away and made crude and inappropriate comments.

It is probably more of a “hey, watch this” and then they all watch to see your reaction to the “compliments”

This shit isn’t cute. It’s a power move. Personally, I’d put a stop to it. But if you don’t mind a table full of men laughing at you, then go ahead and let it continue
