With Marvel’s Secret Wars speculated to be getting a big screen adaptation, what is your pitch for it?

Largely inspired by Hickman's run, where Barons run independent kingdoms. Liberally using pseudo-science, think Rick & Morty but more serious

The set up is mainly around F4 realizing that the current MCU is experiencing accelerated entropy, thus superheroes get together to find a plan... but we never know what said plan is.

Secret Wars pt 1

Intro being told from the PoV of Thanos in Battleworld, who is about be declared Baron of his domain. His characterization is a complete 180 from the bad guy in IW, and we see him being one of the strongest proponents of God Emperor Doom, until Valeria Doom(Richards) discovers the raft of MCU heroes in his domain.

The MCU heroes from Reed's raft are put on trial & sentenced as heretics, but their words find resonance in Thanos.

Strange (from the MCU) is used like the comic, and largely supports Doom, considering he saved their world -- something Reed couldn't do. But helps the heroes escape & spread through the world just like the comic.

Essentially Thanos has his faith in Doom being slowly shattered, largely due to being incapable of accepting that death shouldn't be circumvented. His faith gets challenged & he becomes obsessed with the idea of impermanence ie. death.

Nakia & Shuri search for answers in their own way, establish connection with the Wakandan gods only to come to the realization that Doom was declared worthy by the Panther goddess as necessary. Nakia challenges this, and is also declared worthy, ascends to godhood & get's pretty OP powers herself via the Wakandan gods.

Ending is that all the combined resistance forces are still defeated, but Reed is able to have a one-on-one conversation with Doom.

Doom tells Reed that the original MCU was Doom's creation, and uses his god powers to import the sequence of events that led to Battleworld.

We cut to another timeline with an older Reed Richards, who is interrupted by Downey's Stark & Evan's Cap who have discovered that Reed is the responsible for the death of the multiverse.

Sue, who is in the process of a divorce with Reed, doesn't believe this at first, but Reed confirms it saying he's ran through all the probabilities with Strange and they won't survive. The only way to save it is destroy it themselves & hope for the best.

Sue goes to Valeria & Franklin, trying to explain the concept of death.

A new world would have to be created, rewriting the cosmic hierarchy & Reed reveals God Emp. Doom as being the only one who is likely to bridge the gap for a new world.

Stark, still pissed, asks Doom about Morgan, to which Doom gives a vague answer how he would be proud -- and than uses Molecule Man, ending this universe/timeline.

Reed snaps out of Doom's trance & concedes that a variant of him caused the death of the multiverse. He accepts defeat.

Strange asks Doom if he showed Reed the most crucial part -- Doom outwitted the Beyonders same way as comic & did re-write the cosmic hierarchy. Leaving out Mutants, as they may pose threat, and other things, etc.

As the defeated heroes are about to be put to death, Thanos, who still harbors the title of Baron, proclaims that his status allots for Trial by Battle (ik name sucks).

As various domains have begun to adopt the idea that GE Doom is a false god, it would essentially be setting up a cosmic scaled tournament of various realities & amalgamations based on the destroyed multiverses, for the sequel.

Ending is Reed telling Sue what he saw, and how he is to blame. Reed is thinking of this like a puzzle that he can't come to accept, and asks Sue what the chances are of him setting these things in motion without a counter-plan are... and she replies 0.

I just like Hickman's work so put my own little fan-fic lol tis was fun
