why Xiao is so disgustingly broken now after Faruzan?

ayaka does have slightly more dps, but if you can actually hit everything from a ganyu team (full venti burst with the swirls and at least 1 icicle per wave from ganyu burst) onto the enemy, the dps difference isn't extremely noticeable, even in single target. the thing is dps windows are just too short for this to occur resulting in a much greater disparity between how the two units are viewed. the quadratic scaling made morgana the best team in the game when it could be utilized, but even without it, if you could at least hold the enemy in the air, morgana's dps wasn't bad at all. imo the inability to CC enemies impacted the team far more than being forced into single target.

with bat, sure i would agree itto is better than ayaka here, although personally i would prefer to run double hydro hu tao over him. and yes i agree this one boss matchup doesn't put him on the same level as ayaka/hu tao, but i never even mentioned the bat until you did. it's not like i said "ayaka is better at killing it than xiao which means xiao is worse" because that's not true and i also actually prefer using xiao against it than ayaka because of how weak she is to it (no 4 pc blizzard, no kazuha buff, no VV shred). i can admit ayaka is not always the best choice anymore especially after the last 2-3 abyss cycles.

i also do not know how good wanderer is, i never tested him. i know a bit from just casually watching zajef vids but that's about it. personally, i dont even think ayaka/hu tao are the best chars in the game, it's just that these are the ones mentioned so i spoke about their strengths as being frontloaded damage carries. i consider international and double hydro nahida hyperbloom to be the best AOE and single target teams.
