Your ultimate build

I pretty much disregard poise now. Takes too much to be practical especially when stone ring daggers are a thing. Unless I'm using a weapon that actually gets hyper armor frames like an UGS, then I will stack to about 100 poise. For my current jam which is halberds I find that poise is kind of a waste because I'm mostly attacking out of the enemy's range or chasing them down. The only time I take physical damage is when I fuck up dodging or make a trade. Or just when I'm being bad in general (AKA getting backstabbed).

Physical defense isn't something worth worrying about either to me, I get about 400 with the combos listed before Sacred Oath, and I love Flynn's ring too much to use heavy armor most of the time. I get high 200's for magic/dark and high 300's for lightning/fire because of the faith, which is pretty decent. Combined with a Dark Watcher's Shield and a Magic Llewellyn Shield I'm pretty much covered.

I worry about damage output and mobility more than anything else, and with my setup I roll under 55%. I'd prefer under 40%, but I want some armor. My favorite halberd is the Wrathful Axe with Mastodon Halberd at a close second. They do 563 and 643 AR respectively with 40 str, base dex and RoB Flynn.

My build that uses the MH is actually 150 because I need a few less points in dex and no fth or att. 46 end is my minimum for it though because you can get two combos off and still do one more action. I use Sacred Oath on the WA variant which is SL 200 because it does a little less damage and I have the faith anyway. Also it could be viable at as low as 175 if I didn't use Sacred Oath and two casts of Great Heal (made that decision after being summoned into ganks 6 or 7 times last night).

Sorry for the long reply I just felt the need to gush about my builds because I haven't got a chance to yet and I'm absolutely loving halberds. Also you've been cool to me :)
